How do I know if your services are right for me?2019-03-17T19:17:36-04:00

Request a free 15-minute consultation through the contact page so we can both decide if we are right for each other.

What services do you provide?2019-03-12T13:13:25-04:00

I review your portfolio and provide recommendations to make it better when needed. You then use this information to manage your own portfolio. If you desire asset management services through another adviser, I will recommend an appropriate firm to help you.

Do you need the cost basis of the investments I own?2019-03-12T13:14:06-04:00

Only for investments in taxable accounts, and deferred stock options and other corporate incentives.

If I like where I have my accounts, will I have to change custodians?2019-03-12T13:14:41-04:00

No. You can leave your money right where it is. I will tell you if there is a disadvantage to doing that.

What is your hourly fee?2019-03-12T13:15:29-04:00

I charge $450 per hour, divided into 6-minute segments at $45 per segment.

What is your $500 Portfolio 2nd Opinion offer?2019-04-05T22:28:13-04:00

New clients can take advantage of a Portfolio 2nd Opinion. You get 1.5 hours for a flat $500 fee. Prior to using this option, you must complete and send a Questionnaire along with your current holdings.

Do you offer family discounts?2019-03-12T13:17:33-04:00

I do not offer discounts; however, there is no minimum charge.

Will you manage my portfolio?2019-03-12T13:18:15-04:00

No. I prefer to work as your advocate to find a manager that best fits your needs, not as your money manager. This “unbundled” approach lowers your overall cost.

Do you review assets I have in 401(k) plans, company retirement plans, and other savings?2019-03-12T13:19:49-04:00

Yes. It’s important that I take a universal look at all your investments before making recommendations.

Once signed, the contract continues until it is cancelled by either party at any time and for any reason.

Is there a minimum required annual charge or a fee to cancel the contract?2019-03-12T13:22:01-04:00

No. If you do not use my services for 24-months the contract cancels automatically.

By what means do I pay you?   2019-03-16T09:54:57-04:00

Credit card or bank draft. It’s a seamless transaction through the billing system.

Are you compensated for referrals, management fees or commissions?2019-03-12T13:26:56-04:00

No. My only source of compensation for advice is the fee you pay me.

Do you handle ex-pats and foreign nationals?2019-04-09T09:49:18-04:00

On a limited basis. Taxes make this complicated. I am not a tax adviser. You may need advice from someone who is a foreign tax expert.
